Panto Trivkovic

Born in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1967, grown up in Germany, visual artist Ing. Panto Trivkovic lives and works in Vienna for over 30 years.

Since 2018 he is the owner of pantoART studio and gallery, where he paints and organizes exhibitions.

With his education as a civil engineer for building construction, he sharpened his visual perception, three-dimensional thinking and learned to work in a structured and goal-oriented way. Trivkovic has specialized in painting with hot wax and applies this technique to photographs as well. As a result, these become unique and extraordinary works of art that cannot be reproduced. Other painting techniques he works with are ink and watercolor.

I think up stories, but I don't write them. Instead, I paint them and, in this way, bring them closer to the viewer. It's about self-expression and the change of perspective, but also about breaking out of the way we use to think. I usually use strong colors to visualize the world of emotions and to emphasize certain contents. Time and space also have a special meaning in my paintings. Both dimensions are difficult to comprehend and thus offer endless possibilities for interpretation.

Since 2018, artworks by Panto Trivkovic have been regularly exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Austria, but also abroad, such as in the USA, Russia, China, Switzerland and Italy.

Artqol art magazine, as well as ART Habens Magazine have reported extensively on Trivkovic and his art.

He was a finalist in the Prisma Art Prize 2019 and managed to reach the 7th place in the Photo Art Award 2020/21.

Selected as one of the "Most World's Exciting Artists" among hundreds of abstract artists worldwide, Trivkovic was published in the ART Folio Annual Book 2020.

Panto Trivkovic is a member of the Professional Association of Fine Artists of Austria, where he is Deputy Head of the Photo and Multimedia Section.

Further membership with International Encaustic Artists (USA).
